Former POW Major Harry Cargill had not only been charged with collaboration and treason, he has even signed a confession. His court martial should be an open-and-shut case, except that his military investigator, Colonel William Edwards, is suspicious of its ease. Cargill refuses to answer questions or defend himself, but as Edwards investigates, he uncovers a horrifying truth that will shake the Army to its core.
