In an earlier Brief I explained about Soldiers' Angels - who we are and what our mission is.  In that Brief I mentioned that it is accomplished with 30 different teams.  I would like to talk now about some.

ADOPT A SOLDIER

The picture reflects on how important it is for our Troops to hear from us and know that we have not forgotten them.  The adoption process is simple and once you receive your soldier we ask for min. of one letter per week and one care package per month.  The duration is for his/her total deployment approx. 6 to 12 months. 

You may not hear back from your soldier but do not be disappointed, you can be sure that your letters and care packages are treasured.

THIS IS NOT A DATING SERVICE

LETTER WRITING TEAM

Another part of this team.  Soldiers that have requested a need for extra help will be assigned an Adopting Angel but until then people on this team will receive names and are asked to write a letter to each.  This lets the soldier know that he/she's request has been heard.

CARDS PLUS TEAM

This team is dedicated to supporting service members, their families, and even other Angels through encouraging cards and notes at special times. Examples:Birthday, Encouragement, Welcome Home, Thinking of You, Get Well etc.

These teams fill the needs and are important to the morale of all it touchs.
