Linda McCluskey joined the team at Pleasant View this past week as the Lifestyle Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator. In this capacity, she will be responsible for managing volunteers, life enrichment planning & events for independent living and assisted living residents, acting as a community liaison as new residents move into independent living and assisted living, and also acts as the gift shop coordinator.

“We want to provide the highest quality social, educational and cultural experiences possible, and bringing Linda in to work with residents and volunteers will only reinforce and enrich the experiences we already offer, said Social Service Director and Memory Support Director, Jennifer Dischler.

Linda states of this new opportunity for her that “it’s all about making a difference in people’s lives.”

With a background and credentialing in recreation, Linda is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional. She stays up-to-date on all the latest trends in leisure and recreation and will be able to provide new and enjoyable experiences, along with already beloved ones to the residents of Pleasant View.

Linda and her husband of 26 years have one son. Linda, in addition to her position at Pleasant View, acts as an adjunct faculty member at University of St. Francis, teaching a health and wellness class.
