The LaSalle County Historical Society is proud to offer a new opportunity for kids! Come to the Museum in Utica to participate in our new Outdoor Education Weekend Program on October 20! Spend the day learning about Native Americans, Early Pioneers, and the Canal that runs right through town!
Enjoy lunch while you find out what the Illinois Valley was like long ago! This includes playing games, making a craft, cooking like a pioneer, and exploring the museum exhibits. Your registration fee includes all the activities and lunch, too! The program will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to 3rd—8th graders.
We look forward to seeing you there! Please have your child prepared for a day of outdoor activities! This includes having close-toed shoes that are good for running and walking, sunscreen applied before arrival, and bug spray. Also keep weather in mind, and send your child with a jacket if necessary. $20 per child. Pre-Registration is required by October 17. Please call (815)667-4861. |
