Lego Camp is back!

IVCC's Continuing Education and Business Center is proud to offer two Lego Camps for kids this summer. Enrollment is limited and students must be registered by July 29.

Junior Vehicle Engineering Using Legos   

(Grades 1-3)    YOU-2110-08

Young engineers will learn basic engineering principles and work with simple machines in this hands-on environment. Students will creatively build and modify different vehicles including everyday vehicles, concept cars, construction machines and more using Legos! Learn about forces in motion and develop problem solving skills. This class is appropriate for students going into grades 1-3. (1 week – 4 sessions)

Elementary Engineering Using Legos        

(Grades 4-8)    YOU-2108-08

For young engineers who are interested in exploring engineering processes in a fun, hands-on environment. Lessons will involve simple machines, structures and forces, levers, wheels and axles, gears and gear math, ratchets and drive trains, and motorized systems. Children will construct a variety of machines and structures like drawbridge, belt conveyer, crane, turnstile and more. This class is appropriate for the young engineer, ages 8 and older. (1 week - 4 sessions)
