Carve out a new hobby!

IVCC’s Continuing Education and Business Services Office offers “Carve a Personalized Print” (HLR-2760-06 ) Saturday, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in room B-101.

You’ll create a relief print of your child (or grandchild), a friend, a pet, or an animal. Learn basic printmaking techniques, such as hand carving your print block, inking, and printing to create your own unique prints. Learn how to use printmaking techniques to create frameable art, greeting cards, print on fabric; including t-shirts, or create a popart effect.

Students should bring a 4 X 6” *CLOSE-UP photograph of their child (or grandchild), a friend, a pet, or an animal to class. *Close-up photograph: A photograph taken from a short distance that gives a very detailed picture, such as a picture that frames the face and shoulders. Please bring a sack lunch to class. All materials are included in the $48 course fee.
